To live philosophy is to make art.
I
In potential, anything exists.
Yet, for it to become real, one must select and be definite.
Paradoxically, awareness expands in the birth of form,
and to forego the point of choice is to rob yourself of everything.
II
The world is neither black nor white; the nuances of life are its richness. And so I stay rooted in my knowing while staying receptive to the unknown.III
All art is one of one; yet they all follow the same fundamental principle: All strive toward a higher plane.
I live art as that which makes the unseen seen; everything I create is devoted, and yet a spontaneous expression of my seeing.IV
I am sovereign in my creation and in communion with my community.
I know, community is essential to the individual's flourishing.
And the individual's flourishing is essential to the community's becoming.V
I acknowledge that the noise from outside makes me want to fit the containers, which, without reflection, will become what I think to be my own voice.
Therefore, I mute the noise to listen to my inner muse.
